Helen was the wife of Menelaus whose capture by Paris sparked the Trojan War.

She was the fairest woman in the world, and Aphrodite had led Paris to her after he judged Aphrodite to be the fairest. Paris was invited to eat with Menelaus and her, and at one point Menelaus left him and her alone. However, Paris was not to be trusted, and he abducted Helen for his own.

When Menelaus returned to find Helen missing, he called for the Trojans to help, and thus the Trojan War was launched. Eventually, by the end of the war, she marries Deiphobus, but the period was short lived after Helen betrays him and leaves him to the mercy of the soldiers, who kill him.
